Is This What the Web is About?

Something to think about:

"Thanks for the info about the Nevada trip. Looks like a fun thing to do, be great to find someone to fund such expeditions on a regular basis. My one question is: Is it really art? Just a philosophical line. I personally am not convinced about the status of "performance art", mostly because it very personal, is more rewarding to the artist rather than the audience and no one can agree about the parameters involved in the process. One could say that each individual on the planet is a performance artist, acting out their own interpretation of the meaning of life...."

Is this what the web is about? A community focused on publishing the events of their lives for the world to see and share?
Is there an audience hungry for "real" life drama?
Have we been programmed to discount our own lives while vicariously living through others?
Is it the need for more information?
Just some things to contemplate inn the desert. . . .
Have a good trip!"
