Sisters Jennie 9, Louise 6, Emma 3 LeBeau
& Wilson Turner 3
1864
Died in Wagon of Diptheria
Buried c1/4 mile NW of spot 1864
Cloudburst in 1940 washed out 2 skeletons size of 2 older girls - out on flat. Reburied in 1941 at this spot.
New 1990 history by Peggy LeBeau Hawthone N.V.
Caretakers 1960 - Johnnie Ray Johnson, Fallon N.V.

Restoration of 3 LeBeau sisters grave is dedicated to the memory of the hundreds of men & women & children & the thousands of animals that perished on this trail to California in circa 1840 to 1870s while crossing Nevada.

Craig wrote a poem at the gravesite:
Young William Turner
and sisters LeBeau
died quite suddenly
a century ago.
Still they've achieved
in the hundred years since
American Dream
of a white, picket fence.
