  Bringing the family farm to life online

Point Reyes Farmstead is a family-run California cheese company. They wanted a site that would reflect the elegant, sophisticated nature of their brand, while creating a friendly environment that would entice repeat visitors to the site. It was important that the site be simple to navigate and resolve well on all browsers and web connections. We decided to let the beautiful photos of the facilities, family and landscape drive the site. A simple layout was introduced and a photo tour was added to showcase the visuals.

My role on the project included art direction, design, and all production.

  Maintaining brand consistency

The site design extended Point Reyes Farmstead’s existing identity. It featured the bold, attractive photography from the farm and the sophisticated yet homey identity. We developed a site that was easy to understand with an emphasis on information and minimal flashiness.

  A family, friendly experience

The clients wanted to convey the personal nature of their company. This was supported with a short clickthrough tour featuring exquisite photography from the farm.

  Promotions and order forms

I also helped Point Reyes develop mailers and order forms to complement their site marketing efforts.
